I have never rendered an image out of zbrush. Can someone explain how to do it? I need a good image for printing and my new reel.

Thanks. Let me know

other than screen shots, seems that people import the mesh into max/maya, light it and render

That is what I need, some screen shots.
Is the only thing I can do is screen capture the screen?

there are some settings you can tweak in the render menu and light menu, however for the lights to take effect you must have a standard material rather than a matcap material(matcap has lighting baked into it which cannot be changed). under render check best for the highest quality rendering which will automaticaly render whenever you make a change, similar to IPR render in maya.

and to save your rendering go to Document -> export, Zbrush has very limited image file types, PSD BMP and TIF, i find it kinda silly you cant save out a jpg.

anyway i hope that thelps.

also for a reel, check out the Movie tab for turntables(also can do timelapses from this window)
